In this video I'm making a custom bolt with a thread on each end. One of the thread is a regular M16 thread and the other one is a left-hand M16 thread. In the center there's a 24mm hexagon. This part is used to adjust the distance between two parts which are used for a foot pedal on a machine. As both threads are pretty big to cut with dies I decided to turn them on the lathe.
