Schluter DITRA-HEAT thermostat installation tips…I connect the ground braid to the Romex ground with a wire nut. The 12/2 Romex wires go into the Line terminals, hot goes into L1 and neutral into L2N. The heat cable wires go into the Load terminals and the sensor wires feed to the C and D slots. Always follow your local electrical code and work with the breaker off!! Schluter DITRA HEAT Peel and Stick mat tips…I primed the plywood with Schluter PRIMER PS and 1/4 inch nap roller. That cured within an hour. Then I bonded the Peel and Stick mats to the subfloor and activated the pressure-sensitive adhesive with a wood floor. Both the heat cable and tile can be installed over the mats on the same day.
