I’ve been working with Romeo, a 7-year-old gelding I’m starting under saddle. He’s always been very sensitive to touch, so we’ve been focusing on sitting bareback, creating better associations around touch, and building consent for touch. Some time ago, I came across family constellation work through Mark Wolynn’s book It Didn’t Start With You. After seeing the benefits in my own life, I’ve started exploring this work with the horses. This was Romeo’s second session. In the first, his knees buck
