Canada played Czechia in a men's ice hockey quarterfinal game at the Winter Olympics.

Mitch Marner spoiled the "Miracle in Milan" with his latest act of clutch goal-scoring for Team Canada. The forward scored 1:22 into overtime, giving top-seeded Canada a 4-3 win against upset-minded Team Czechia in a quarterfinal game of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 at Santagiulia Arena on Wednesday.

Tuesday was a spectacular day of hockey in the Olympic men’s hockey tournament at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. Three of the four games went to overtime before being decided.
