Washington DC, Cherry blossoms
Digest more
Spring’s first day brings a warm mix of sun and clouds to the Washington, D.C. region Friday, with afternoon temperatures climbing to around 70 degrees.
The warm weather over the weekend was enough to push the cherry blossoms from Stage 4 (which we reached Saturday morning) to Stage 5 Monday morning. Temperatures will be milder Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and we'll likely see peak bloom one of these days.
